BREW Small Scale Grants

The regional Business Resource Efficiency and Waste team has again made available a small grant scheme to help improve business resource efficiency in the region. This will be administered by the Manufacturing Advisory Service.

The grants offer assistance in purchasing equipment which reduces a businesses environmental impact.

Capital grants of up to £8,000, max 20% of project capital cost.

Consultancy of up to £2,500, max 50% of project consultancy cost.
These can be combined if each activity enables you to save more than either one alone.

The grants are open to all sectors (only exclusions are direct agriculture)
There are no postcode restrictions
They are open to both SME's and Large businesses
Where other grants exist these should be utilised first, for example: RAY, Envirowise, Carbon Trust, MAS etc
All grants must be claimed by clients before 31st March 2008.
