What are the DEW Networks?
These networks have been created with input from all local authorities and relevant regional bodies in Yorkshire and Humber.
Delivering Excellence in Waste (DEW) helps local authorities and the waste industry in Yorkshire & Humber to:
- Increase recycling and
- Meet the landfill directive targets for diversion of biodegradable municipal waste (BMW)
DEW will meet these objectives by;
- Enabling staff and members to share good practice between and within local authorities in the region
- Using experts to address obstacles to the objectives
- Allowing quick and easy access to relevant information.
